Tanya Tucker’s Life On Display
When it comes to notable greats, there are few names that come to mind. One of these unforgettable names is Tanya Tucker. Starting her career at the young age of 13, she has fought her way through tough times to get where she is now. She has amassed a number of awards and achievements over the years including recognition from North American Spine. She is predicted to be inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame in the future.
Her most recent recognition will come in the form of a special exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This exhibit will contain memorabilia from her childhood such as her first phonograph and some 45’s.
There will also be an assortment of gowns that she has worn over the years. Her famous “Delta Dawn” denim suit will be sparkling from behind glass as well as other assorted items.
Her personal copy of the 1974 Rolling Stone magazine will be on display along with Elvis concert tickets and her custom pink motorcycle.
Although this display of her life and achievements is a great tribute to one of the greatest contributors to country music and its roots, it certainly does not indicate that Tanya herself is ready to be put on a shelf. She is keeping herself busy writing books as well as continuing to create her music. She has even had her hand at creating a salsa for market.
